Who we are

What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. The page sets no cookies and has no forms. Fonts and images are served from this domain. The only links that leave this site go to YouTube and to Gumroad.
We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not build a profile of you; it records that a page was viewed, the country, the browser type, and the page you came from. That is the only measurement on this site.
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time) to run the site and protect it from abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site online and secure for that. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs its handling of those logs.
What the checkout collects
When you press "Get the book," you leave this site for a checkout run by Gumroad, Inc., which is the merchant of record for the sale. Gumroad collects your email address, your ZIP code or country (to calculate sales tax), and your payment details, and it runs its own cookies and a reCAPTCHA check on its pages. Gumroad's privacy policy governs that processing.
Gumroad then shares with us the details we need to look after your purchase: your email address, your name if you gave one, your ZIP code or country, what you bought, the amount, the order date, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not receive your card number.
What we do with it
- Deliver the files and help you if a download fails.
- Answer your emails and process refunds.
- Respond to payment disputes and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
- Send you a corrected or updated file if this edition changes. That is the only email we send buyers on our own initiative. Gumroad sends the receipt and any emails about your order.
We do not send marketing email. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in, with an unsubscribe link and our postal address in every message. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Gumroad and its payment processor (payment, tax, delivery), Cloudflare (server logs for hosting and security), our email provider (to answer you), and anyone the law requires us to disclose to.
How long we keep it
Purchase records for seven years, for tax. Support emails for two years. Then they are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask for a copy, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@auntiefongcooks.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority. If you are a California resident, we honor the access, deletion, and correction rights in California law on request, and we do not sell or share personal information.
Where the data lives
We are based in the United States, and Gumroad stores purchase data in the United States.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
Payments are processed by Gumroad, Inc., the merchant of record. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Gumroad sends your receipt and download link.
